Mr. Charles Merritt Cartwright, 66, of 407 Quill Moore Rd., Clarkton, NC died Saturday, July 3, 2021 at his residence.

Survivors- his wife. Bernice Steele Cartwright of the home, his parents, Theodore and Eva Mae Cartwright of Elizabethtown, NC, two daughters, Nya Cartwright and Nickie Cartwright both of Norfolk, Va, two sisters, Fannie McKinley(Harold) of Dublin, NC and Joyce Mason(Jay) of Bladenboro, NC.

Funeral- Friday, July 9, 2021 at 1:00pm at Willie E. Johnson Memorial Chapel on the facility of Johnson’s Funeral Service, 207 S. Pine St., Elizabethtown, NC. Eulogy by Pastor Felicia Horne-Murchison.

Burial- Mitchell Field Cemetery, 240 Mitchell Field Rd, Clarkton, NC.

Viewing- Thursday, July 8, 2021 from 3:00pm-6:00pm at Johnson’s Funeral Service, Elizabethtown, NC. The family will receive friends at the home.

All attendees are required to wear face masks and practice social distancing.
