Mr. Carlando McDowell, 43 of 603 Martin St., Elizabethtown, NC died Saturday, June 19, 2021 at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, NC. 
 

Survivors- his wife, Tahesia McDowell of Whiteville, NC, his father, Ricky Adams of Elizabethtown, NC, his grandmother, Helen McDowell of Elizabethtown, NC, one daughter, Destiny Shipman of Elizabethtown, NC, two brothers, Brandon Ward of Elizabethtown, NC and Anthony Ward of Indiana. 
 

Funeral- Sunday, June 27, 2021 at 1:30pm at Willie E. Johnson Memorial Chapel on the facility of Johnson’s Funeral Service, 207 S. Pine St., Elizabethtown, NC. Eulogy by Bishop Willie Powers, Pastor of True Way Holiness Church, Elizabethtown, NC.

Burial- New Hope Cemetery, Clarkton, NC. (Libson Community)

Viewing- Saturday, June 26, 2021 from 3:00pm-6:00pm at Johnson’s Funeral Service, Elizabethtown, NC. The family will receive friends at the home of Mrs. Helen McDowell 910 M&M St., Elizabethtown, NC.
