Mr. Avon C. Corbett, 61, of 350 Porter McKoy Rd., Council, NC died Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, Fayetteville, NC.

Survivors: A special friend, Wandra Walker of Council, NC, three sons: Cyril Walker(Alisha) and Steven Walker(Sheena) both of Council, NC, and Jamie Walker(Latoya) of Covington, Georgia, his mother, Delphine Corbett of Philadelphia, Pa, two sisters, Priscilla Porter(Lester) of Clayton, Delaware and Mary Foustine Owens of Council, NC, one brother, Kevin Corbett(Dawn) of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 5 grandchildren.

Funeral- Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at 2:00pm at Willie E. Johnson Memorial Chapel on the facility of Johnson’s Funeral Service, 207 S. Pine St., Elizabethtown, NC. Eulogy by Min. Sherry Harvey.

Burial- Carvers Creek Cemetery, Council, NC.

Viewing- Tuesday, September 7, 2021 from 12:00pm-1:30pm at the funeral home.

All attendees are required to wear face masks and practice social distancing.
