Mother Helen Ethel McCall McDowell, 90, 910 M&M St., Elizabethtown, NC died Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at Cape Fear Valley/Bladen Healthcare Elizabethtown, NC.

Survivors- three sons, Clifton McDowell(Gloria) of Elizabethtown, NC, Edward McDowell Sr.,(Patsy) of Raeford, NC and Edward McDowell, Jr.,(Marsha) of Hope Mills, NC, two sisters, Abbie McKoy(Andrew) of Clarkton, NC and Ella Mae Coston of New York, 14 grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren, nephews and nieces.

Funeral- Monday, May 1, 2023 at 1:00pm at Trueway Holiness Church, 503 Quail St., Elizabethtown, NC. Eulogy by Bishop Willie Powers.

Burial- New Hope Cemetery, Clarkton, NC(Lisbon Community).

Viewing- Sunday, April 30, 2023 from 5:00pm-7:00pm at Johnson’s Funeral Service, Elizabethtown, NC. The family will receive friends at the home.
