Little Mr. Avery Zaire Kornegay, 11, 3243 Peanut Plant Rd., Elizabethtown, NC died Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at Lower Cape Fear Lifecare Hospice in Whiteville, NC.

Survivors- his parents, Monet’ and David Gray, his father, Antonio Potts, siblings, Sanaa Potts, Xavier Potts, Jordynn Eason-Potts, Aubrey Potts, Davion Gray, Luviy Gray, Harmony Kornegay-Gober, his grandparents, Ivory L. Kornegay, Sr.,(Juanita), Lynne Lennon(Moses), Leatha Potts, Jessie and Nathaniel-David Curry, his great grandmother, Daisy M. Potts, his great-grandfather, John Henry Potts.

Funeral- Monday, July 22, 2024 at 12:00pm at Baldwin Branch Missionary Baptist Church 4047 NC -242, Elizabethtown, NC. Eulogy by Rev Dr. Louie Boykin.

Burial- Baldwin Branch Church Cemetery, Elizabethtown, NC.

Viewing- Monday, July 22, 2024 from 11:00am-12:00pm at the church.
