Mekhi Amere Wright, infant son of Shanrika McKiver and Chuckeem Wright of 420 E. McKay St., Apt. 5C, Elizabethtown, NC died on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at UNC Hospitals, Chapel Hill, NC.
Survivors- one sister, McKenzie Wright of Elizabethtown, NC, his grandmother, Doris McKiver of Kelly, NC, one uncle, Leon McKiver, Jr., of Kelly, NC, two aunts, LaShanna T. McKiver of Georgia and Shetorra A. McKiver of Elizabethtown, NC, two Godparents, Nicole Mathis of Elizabethtown, NC and Daja Harris of Lisbon, NC.
Celebration of Life for baby boy Mekhi Amere Wright will be held on Sunday, January 24, 2021 at 2:30pm with no more than (50) people present at Willie E. Johnson Memorial Chapel on the facility of Johnson’s Funeral Service, 207 S. Pine St., Elizabethtown, NC. Eulogy by Rev. JT McDowell, Pastor of Zion Chapel AME Zion Church in Kelly, NC.
