Mrs.Glivia Gainey, 95, of Chesapeake, VA, died Thursday, July, 25, 2024 while in the care of Chesapeake Regional Medical Center.

She was born in East Arcadia in Bladen County, North Carolina to the parents of Van and Tisha Lacewell.

Survivors- her children, Carmela(Gainey) Porter, Kim Gainey, Raynard Gainey and Pamela Gainey.

Funeral- Monday, August 12, 2024 at 11:30am at Willie E. Johnson Memorial Chapel on the facility of Johnson’s Funeral Service, 207 S. Pine St., Elizabethtown, NC.

Burial- Graham Chapel AME Zion Church, 458 East Arcadia Rd., Riegelwood, NC.

Viewing- Monday, August 12, 2024 from 10:00am-11:30am at Johnson’s Funeral Service, Elizabethtown, NC.
