Evangelist Joyce Covington Obituary

Evangelist Joyce Inette Covington, 74, of 209 Mt. Olive Rd., Elizabethtown, NC died Monday, November 17, 2024 at UNC Chapel Hill in Chapel Hill, NC.

Survivors- her children, Latasha Purdie, Veronica Jones and Saquon Covington all of Elizabethtown, NC, Ronnie Covington of Georgia and Pamela Purdie of Greensboro, NC, 18 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren.

Viewing- Tuesday, November 26, 2024 from 12:00pm-1:00pm at the church. There will be no viewing after the service.

Funeral- Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at 1:00pm at Faith Temple Holiness Church in Clarkton, NC. Eulogy by Pastor Clinton Wooten.

Burial- Purdie Cemetery, Elizabethtown, NC.
