Dr. Helen Grace McMillon, 78, of 1604 Winding Creek Rd., Elizabethtown, NC transitioned on Sunday, May 24, 2026 at Novant Health New Hanover Medical Center in Wilmington, NC. 
 

Visitation- The family will receive friends at 1604 Winding Creek Rd., Elizabethtown, NC. 
 

Survivors- two sons, Donald Wooten of Elizabethtown, NC and Michael Wooten of New York, six brothers, Willie Monroe, Thurman Monroe, LeVere Monroe and Bobby Monroe all of Council, NC, Edward Monroe of Whiteville, NC and Leonardo Harris of Atlanta, Georgia, one sister, Deborah Monroe of Council, NC, a host of grandchildren. 
 

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, June 1, 2026 at 2:00pm at Willie E. Johnson Memorial Chapel on the facility of Johnson’s Funeral Service, 207 S. Pine St., Elizabethtown, NC. Eulogy by Pastor Leona Cromartie, Pastor of New Beginning Holiness Church, Clarkton, NC.
