Deacon Theodore Merritt Cartwright

Deacon Theodore Merritt Cartwright, 88, of Elizabethtown, NC died Saturday, May 7, 2022 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC. 

Survivors- his wife, Evangelist Eva Cartwright, two daughters, Evangelist Fannie(Harold) McKinley and Joyce(Jerry) Mason, two daughter-in-laws, Tracy Cartwright and Bernice Cartwright, 8 grandchildren, Shante’, Renee’, Nya, Amber, Harold, Sterling(Cierra), Lajon and Troy, 10 great-grandchildren, Jaylin, Dayvion, Aniya, Cameron, Eva, Sterling, Zipora, Isaiah, Alaysia and Troy, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and co workers. 
 

Funeral- Saturday, May 14, 2022 at 2:00pm at Willie E. Johnson Memorial Chapel on the facility of Johnson’s Funeral Service, 207 S. Pine St., Elizabethtown, NC. Presiding by Pastor James McDowell and Eulogy by Pastor Elder Barrington Pearson of Sumter, SC. 

Burial- Pone Cemetery, Elizabethtown, NC. 

Viewing- Friday, May 13, 2022 from 5:00pm-7:00pm at Johnson’s Funeral Service, Elizabethtown, NC. The family will receive friends at the home of Harold and Fannie McKinley 6224 NC Hwy 87W. Elizabethtown, NC.
