Mrs. Lizzie Mae Purdie~Cromartie, 77, of Corona, NY, formerly of Elizabethtown, NC died Thursday, February 21, 2019 at her residence.

Survivors: her husband, Donnie Cromartie of the home, two daughters, Yvette Cromartie Wright of East Elmhurst, NY and Belissa Yvonne Cromartie of Elizabethtown, NC, three sons, Maurice L. Purdie of East Elmhurst, NY, Meredith Cromartie of Atlanta, GA and Montrel L. Cromartie of Corona, NY, two sisters, Ernestine Johnson of Bronx, NY and Bonita Burton of East Elmhurst, NY, two brothers, Nathan Grover Cleveland Purdie, Jr. of Bronx, NY and Eddie Purdie of Elizabethtown, NC, 21 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren.

Visitation: The family will recieve friends at 327 Dewitt Goodman Rd., Elizabethtown, NC.

Funeral: Wednesday, February 27, 2019, at 12pm, at Mt. Olive AME Zion Church, 32 Mt. Olive Rd., Elizabethtown, NC, eulogy by Rev. Ricky Jones, officiating by Rev. Ollie Maultsby. Burial will be in Mt. Olive Church cemetery.
