Mr. Johnnie McKoy, Sr., 83, of 407 S. Lower St, Apt. 9, Elizabethtown, NC, died June 21, 2018 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton, NC.

Funeral: Friday (6-29-18), at 11am, at Mt. Zion AME Zion Church in Elizabethtown, NC, eulogy by Rev. Edwin Ferguson.

Burial: Church cemetary

Survivors: wife: Essie Lee McKoy of Elizabethtown, NC; two sons: Donald R. McKoy of Newark, NJ and Johnnie D. McKoy of Virginia; four daughters: Gloria Maxwell of Bladenboro, NC, Brenda Mitchell of Winston-Salem, NC, Janice R. McKoy and Teresa Maxwell-Council both of Elizabethtown, NC; nine grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren.

Visitation: at the residence of Mrs. Teresa Maxwell-Council, 1107 Richardson St., Elizabethtown, NC.

Viewing: Thursday (6-28-18), 2-5pm at the funeral home.
