Mr. James “Buddy” Banks, 91, 36 Banks Dr., died Thursday, June 13, 2019 at his residence.

Survivors: his wife, Sadie Banks of Clarkton, NC, two daughters, Patsy Carter of Council, NC and Cynthia Atkinson of Clarkton, NC, four sons, Ronald Banks, Chris Banks and Craig Banks of Clarkton, NC and Bishop Stanley Banks of Riegelwood, NC, three sisters, Annie Pearl Wright of Clarkton, NC, Versa Mae Banks and Beatrice Banks of Laurinburg, NC, four brothers, William Banks of Elizabethtown, NC, Alan Banks,Thada Banks and Arthamas of Laurinburg, NC, host of grand and great-grandchildren. 

Visitation: Family will receive friends at his home.

Funeral: Monday, June 17, 2019, 1:00pm, at United Faith Ministries Apostolic Church 508 Homer Dr., Elizabethtown, NC, eulogy by Bishop Stanley Banks.

Burial: Mount Olive Cemetery, Elizabethtown, NC

Viewing: Monday, June 17, 2019 from 12-1pm at the church.
