Mr. James Montgomery Obituary

Mr. James Montgomery, 85, of 2074 Allen Priest Rd, Council, NC, died Monday, May 27, 2019 at Duke Va Medical Center in Durham, NC. His survivors are: his wife, Patricia Montgomery of the home; two sons, James Montgomery, Jr. of Elizabethtown, NC and Otis Montgomery of Charlotte, NC; one daughter, Joyce Montgomery of Clarkton, NC; one sister, Patricia Graham of Council, NC; three brothers, Roy Montgomery and Lou Atkinson of Clarkton, NC and Howard Montgomery of New Jersey; 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Visitation: at his home

Viewing: Friday, May 31, 2019, 5:pm-7pm at Johnson's Funeral Service

Funeral: Saturday, June 1, 2019, 3:00pm, at Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 851 Braddy Plantation Rd., Council, NC by Rev. Carl Smith and burial at Carvers Creek Cemetery
